I thought it would be a normal morning of cleaning. My son had gone out with friends, and I decided it was the perfect opportunity to finally tackle the mess hiding beneath his bed. Weeks earlier, he and a friend had been experimenting with snacks and accidentally left several pieces of white chocolate in a warm area near a heater. The chocolate had partially melted, hardened again, and eventually fallen beneath the bed where it remained forgotten.
The answer left everyone laughing. What had looked like a strange unknown object turned out to be nothing more than old white chocolate that had changed shape over time. The experience reminded us how easily ordinary things can become completely unrecognizable when removed from their usual context.
