Hospitals, offices, and commercial facilities sometimes use one orientation consistently to help identify particular circuits or equipment.
What first appeared to be a simple installation mistake turned out to have several practical explanations. The orientation of an electrical outlet often depends on the electrician’s design, the building’s requirements, or added safety considerations, proving that even small details inside a home can have an interesting purpose.
