The curved roots, enamel-covered crown, and darkened section at one end matched what dentists often extract during oral surgery. It had likely been kept as a keepsake or forgotten after being brought home following a dental procedure.
Many people choose to keep extracted teeth for sentimental reasons, especially if they are baby teeth or wisdom teeth removed during a memorable stage of life. Over time, however, they can easily end up tucked away in a drawer, a small container, or accidentally dropped under furniture and forgotten.
What seemed like a mysterious object at first turned out to be something surprisingly ordinary. Sometimes the strangest discoveries around the house have the simplest explanations, and this was one of those moments that transformed confusion into an interesting story.
