Little Johnny was sitting in the middle row of his classroom, trying very hard to look innocent and focused. The room was quiet as the teacher explained math problems on the board. Suddenly, without any warning at all, a loud fart exploded from Johnny’s chair. It echoed through the classroom like a trumpet blast.
For a split second, nobody moved. Then the entire class erupted into uncontrollable laughter. Kids covered their mouths, some fell off their chairs, and a few even started gagging dramatically. The smell didn’t help either.
The teacher spun around slowly, her face turning bright red. She slammed her chalk onto the desk and pointed straight at Johnny.
“JOHNNY! That is absolutely disgusting! Get out of my classroom right now!”
Johnny didn’t argue. He picked up his backpack, trying to look serious, but the second he stepped into the hallway, he burst out laughing. He sat on the floor outside the classroom, shaking with laughter, replaying the moment in his head over and over again.
A few minutes later, the principal walked down the hallway and stopped when he saw Johnny laughing like he’d just heard the funniest joke of his life.
“Johnny,” the principal asked sternly, “why are you sitting outside instead of being in class?”
Johnny wiped tears from his eyes and said, “I farted in class, and the teacher kicked me out.”
The principal crossed his arms. “And what exactly is so funny about that?”
Johnny stood up, leaned closer, and said with a huge grin, “Well sir… I only farted once. But THEY’RE the ones who have to sit in it for the rest of the lesson.”
The principal tried to stay serious, but after a moment, he turned away quickly to hide a smile.
