She had reached a point where she couldn’t ignore it anymore. The itching was driving her crazy, and after trying to deal with it on her own, she finally decided it was time to see a doctor. Sitting there, she explained her problem carefully, expecting a serious answer. But the doctor barely hesitated before giving his diagnosis—and it left her completely shocked.
“You have crabs,” he said confidently. She immediately shook her head. “That’s impossible,” she replied. “I’m eighty years old!” Convinced he had made a mistake, she left and went to another doctor, hoping for a different answer. But to her frustration, the second doctor said the exact same thing.
Now annoyed and determined, she went to a third doctor. This time, she made it very clear from the start. “Doctor, I need help—but don’t tell me it’s crabs. I’m eighty years old. That cannot be the case.” The doctor nodded, trying not to smile, and asked her to get on the table so he could examine her properly.
After a careful check, the doctor stepped back, thinking for a moment. Then he looked at her and said, “Well… I can tell you one thing for sure.” She leaned forward, expecting a serious explanation after all the confusion she’d been through.
“It’s not crabs,” he said. She sighed in relief—until he added, “But at your age… it’s probably just the sand falling out.”
